Scholarships are offered to deserving and needy students to encourage them to take up Higher education. This incentive falls in line with the motto of Higher Education of the State: Access, Equity and Quality. Generation makes Nation. Therefore the Govt. of India and Govt. of Haryana are always putting their efforts to attract the students towards Higher Education.

"Har-Chhatravratti" is a centralized portal developed by the Department of Higher Education that provides one stop solution for end-to-end scholarship process right from submission of application, verification and disbursal to end beneficiary.

Instructions for Students:

• Aadhaar Seeding to bank account is an important requirement for beneficiaries of various DBT schemes to receive DBT benefits in the account. So all the Students are advised to get the Aadhar Seeding done in their Bank account before applying for the scholarship to avoid the payment failure.
• Parivar Pehchan Patra (PPP) is mandatory for availing any Scholarship benefit. So Student are advised to make ensure their all particulars such as Name, DOB, Aadhar No. etc are fully updated in PPP before applying for any scholarship scheme.
• Students whose family income is between 1.80 Lacs to 2.50 Lacs, those students need to apply and download the Income Certificate from SARAL portal and needs to upload while filling the Scholarship form.

Eligible students need to follow the below given steps:

2. Click Registration link at the portal, if you are new user. Existing user can click on the login button.
3. Enter the Parivar Pehchaan Patra (Family Id), a List of members will be displayed, Select your Name and Click on "Generate OTP" button.
4. Enter the OTP received on your registered Mobile No. and Click on "Verify OTP" button.
5. After OTP Verification, the entire details get auto filled in the Registration Form, cross check your information.
6.  Select Your Department and College, and create your Password and Click on "Register" Button.
7. Click login link at the portal and enter User ID and password to apply the scholarship.
8. Provide all necessary details like Course, Roll No and Eligibility etc.
9. Click on the “Apply” button to save your application.
